Summer...

So as I have said previously we where given a summer project entitled 'the essence of British summer 2012' I have been unsure of how to approach this subject so decided to focus on space and my surrounding areas. I have previously posted some images of a National Trust Reserve called Wicken Fen. Another thing I have been noticing is the weather...Its not particularly summery!!

So when the sky became very stormy once again I decided to grab my camera and take some photos off the sky, during the same down pour I sent my mum outside with a Union Jack. I then overlapped two images to create the one below I intend to experiment more with this type of image.

So I have been a very busy bee recently. I have done a Family Shoot, a maternity shoot and also been working on my personal work. Here are some Images From the Maternity Shoot:

There where many images however the client has requested that only these few be seen, I am pleased with all the images and would love the chance to do more maternity shoots in the near future.

Summer 2012...

This summer we have been asked to create images that are 'The Essence of Britian Summer 2012'. The obvious thing to be focusing on would be London and the Olympics however I have decided to start exploring my surrounding areas. This week I have visited Wicken Fen Nature Reserve. I took some images here and intend to enter them into the national trust competition. However I am currently finding this as a challenge as it keeps telling me my file size is too large...even though it isn't. Hopefully I will get my images entered in soon! Some Photographs from my Jewellery Job....

Work.....

So I have been unable to blog for a while due to being sooooooooooooo busy!

However I have been working for a jewellery company called Marjo, taking photographs of 600 pieces for there new website due to launch in September. I was asked to take the photographs and then hand them over to someone else to edit so I have done so and am pleased to report that I finally made a nice sum of money doing the work.

I look forward to doing more jobs in the near future however I think I would definitely like to work with people as I found this job quite tedious as it was literally photographing one piece of jewellery after another until they where all done. I will soon be doing a maternity shoot and I am really excited about doing so. I will put some images up of the jewellery soon and when the website has been launched I will also include a link to that.

When we had that burst of beautiful weather in Plymouth a few weeks ago I decided that this would be the perfect time to get out and about with my camera. So I headed to the Hoe and found a relatively people less spot and began to take images of the sea. Here are a few images from that outing:
